The BAPAC SD Foundation is a nonprofit promoting civic engagement, voter education, and community development for the Black community in San Diego. We provide resources, support voter registration, and advocate for policies addressing Black community needs. Through education, projects, and collaboration, we aim to empower and strengthen the Black community, while also raising funds for Black initiatives and advocating for equity and inclusion.

Empowering Communities for Change
HOUSING
Our housing initiative seeks to address disparities in housing access and affordability within the black community, advocating for fair housing policies, promoting homeownership opportunities, and providing support for affordable housing initiatives to ensure stable and thriving communities.
MILITARY & VETERANS
Honoring the service and sacrifices of black military personnel and veterans, our initiative provides comprehensive support, including access to resources, benefits, and healthcare services, while also advocating for policies that address the unique needs and challenges faced by black service members and veterans.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE &
PUBLIC SAFETY
Committed to reforming the criminal justice system, our initiative focuses on addressing systemic inequalities and promoting fairness, accountability, and community-centered approaches to public safety, with the goal of reducing racial disparities and fostering trust between law enforcement and the black community while at the same time promoting community lead alternative to law-enforcement to reduce community harm.
HEALTH EQUITY
Our holistic approach to health equity encompasses both mental and physical well-being, providing accessible and culturally competent healthcare services, promoting mental wellness, and addressing systemic barriers to healthcare access within the black community, ensuring all individuals have the support they need to thrive.
CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
Empowering the black community to actively participate in civic life, our initiative focuses on voter education, advocacy for voting rights, community organizing, and political representation. By fostering a culture of engagement and amplifying voices, we aim to drive meaningful change, advocate for policies that reflect the community's needs, and build a more inclusive and equitable society.
